Fango Design

Fango Design was founded in Florence on a conviction that furniture should be made from a single material, understood completely. The studio works exclusively in solid timber — oak, walnut, ash, and chestnut — selected for grain, figure, and structural integrity.

Each piece is designed and made in the studio's Florence workshop, where craftsmen trained in traditional Tuscan woodworking apply those techniques to a rigorously contemporary formal language. The result is furniture of exceptional material honesty — objects whose form is inseparable from the wood from which they are made.

Fango Design produces both catalogue pieces and bespoke commissions, working closely with interior designers and private clients to develop furniture appropriate to each project's material and spatial context.
